I had just passively mention that maybe the kid should get a job, and maybe he should get into counseling right away.

I don't totally disagree with that but at the same time she's having money troubles and she has no concept on spending.

She took a sick day off of work today to kind of get a grip on things and when I asked her what did she do she went out and went shopping and bought all this fancy food to make her kids.

I told her she had to take him to the ER and get him help right away but all she has been doing is letting him stay at her place rent-free while he plays video games all night and sleeps all day, and has his girlfriend over.

On top of that her 19 year old son is staying with her now because he doesn't want to stay with his dad and he's claiming he has all these emotional suicidal problems.
