I can also see the brighter side because now (at least according to my personal beliefs), her and my grandpa are together again.

My grandpa passed away in the hospital, with frantic nurses around him, away from home.

She passed away on a quiet Sunday, and we really think that was how it was meant to be.

She was 84. I can see the bright side of the situation in the sense that there were no hospitals, tragedy, illness, or anything crazy like that.

My mom drove to her house and found her watching TV, dead in her arm chair.

Isabell:
My mom tried calling her again at 10:30am, to tell her that we were going to stop by and bring her groceries and lunch, but she would answer her house phone or her cell phone.

It was a totally normal conversation.

She called my mom at 8:30 in the morning just to check in and say hi, like she always did.

My grandma passed away on October 30, 2016. It was pretty unexpected.
