How do I get him to start helping more without making it seem like I don't appreciate what he is doing.

When I have tried to hint I need him to do more he quickly gets defensive because its way more than he has ever had to do around the house already.

There are days where I come home to a clean house and dinner on the table but to me this should be a daily thing while he is at home.

I get aggravated though because I still work full time (12 hr shifts) and come home and am still doing house hold chores.
